[PATCH] Backport of ps3vram module to Fedora 9 (PPC64 kernel 2.6.27)

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

I've been searching for the ps3vram module for Fedora 9 (PPC64 kernel 2.6.27) on the Playstation 3, but couldn't find it so I made a backport based on Linus' current Git tree.

The module makes GPU video RAM available as swap space which speeds things up a lot. The patch is attached if anyone is interested. To enable:

mkswap /dev/ps3vram
swapon -p 10 /dev/ps3vram

All the best,
Fredrik
