Hi, Because of a leagl issue, I have to remove a file from the upstream archive in one of my RPMs [1] How should I do that ? Is it as simple as: 1. extract the upstream archive 2. remove the said file 3. create again an archive with the same name and use it as Source0 Is there something I should take care of concerning timestamps or other subtleties ? Should I mention what I did to the upstream archive in my spec file ?
You can mention it and remove the file directly in the spec in the %prep section :)
