While we're complaining, Intel 830M has been broken since F9:

As a workaround, try adding a minimal xorg.conf with:
Option "EXANoComposite" "true"
I just ran into this updating a Dell Latitude C400 (i830) to F10, and
I'm interesting in fixing it.
It doesn't help with Bug 473809
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=473809
style crashes.
The Option "AccelMethod" "XAA" suggestion from Bug 441665 does work and
seems faster than Option "NoAccel" "true" which is what I was previously using.
And neither currently helps with Bug 469292 (82845G/GL[Brookdale-G]/GE)
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=469292
But the "XAA" did work for a short period. Now it doesn't (details in bug).
I remember reading that there are several different generations
of intel graphics chips supported under this one xorg driver.
In the attempt to make a unified intel xorg driver, it appears
that some chipsets have been short-changed / overlooked.
