The main argument here seems to be that "browser" mode is what people
are used to. That does not mean it is the best. That just means it's
what people happened to learn first.

But then the answer to the question spatial or browser mode is quite simple. The question is, what kind of distribution is Fedora? Is it a playground for technical nerds, use spatial mode (because it might be the best mode). Is it a distribution for normal end users, use browser mode (because the majority of people is used to this mode). But don't expect that Fedora will change to what people are used to, this is nothing that Fedora can do now, maybe sometime in the future (Microsoft could, but they don't do it).
