preserved after you liveinstall to USB? I can't remember seeing the
icon.

Yes, it is (it was in F10 Alpha), but Christof said "normal install", you can't make that in a live DVD. The idea was to perform a normal DVD install but use an USB stick instead of wasting DVD.
