My 5336 is working fine. I did have to reinstall it even from the -96, though. So if you reinstalled it, there must be something different about our configurations.
To the best of my knowledge you have to rebuild your module to match the exact kernel.
Something I do after each kernel update patch to get X running again.

I'm using kernel-2.6.3-1.106 right now, and it seems to have fixed the "X dies immediately with signal 11" problem with my Radeon 7500 in my IBM Thinkpad T41. It should hit FC/development tomorrow.
