For completion, I'd also mention https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=771320 which actually also fixes https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=767713 with totem (both use ClutterEmbed which needs to be notified whenever the size/position changes). So if you apply: https://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk%2B/commit/?id=12579fe to gtk+ and: https://git.gnome.org/browse/cogl/commit/?id=e0fda73 to cogl You should have the issue gone for good.
