Why not shipping both versions (dev-edition is not installed by default) of Firefox and make the packaged addons depending on the developer edition? So if someone needs packaged addons or wants bleeding edge features he could replace stable Firefox with the developer edition. IMHO this would be a suitable solution. -- Regards, Heiko Adams
