Not just that. It's called Developer Edition because it's targeting web developers. It's the version where all new things around developer tools first land. It's actually my default browser (and I know it's the default for many developers too). So if it was in our repositories it would save a lot of time/trouble of trying to make it work properly with our desktop. The only problem I see is that it's regularly updated (almost once a day), but I guess we could live with slower period updates through dnf (or Software Center).
