Having spent quite some time with folks who worked on the website redesign, I recall that the netinstalls are set up to be visible, but not in a way that confuses users to think they *should* opt for them. It's hard to tell whether a prominent explanation would undo that design. I think Mo hangs out on this list so hopefully she can help us focus on solving the right problem here. Also, since no netinstall link exists on spin sites, this probably makes them harder to find.
