With empathy-2.27.3 in rawhide, I have now switched pidgin for empathy in the default install. I haven't added any explicit telepathy modules, so by default we'll just get what empathy pulls in: -gabble (XMPP), -salut (XMPP/zeroconf) and -haze (protocols supported by libpurple). I haven't added -sofiasip (and relegated ekiga to optional) yet, we can finetune this later.
