As currently written, no. But the preferred application setting is not
changed either if the preferred app is uninstalled.
Right but in most instances you would expect the panel icons to go away
if the related application is uninstalled. If we can monitor files, we
should do that.
Actually, right now, you'd get a broken launcher for custom launchers
(ie. the ones added from the menu).
I know that. I consider that a bug.
