according to that link, and what i've heard, having it is legal - you
just can't have it be gpl, and fedora is gpl, so they can't ship it.
this is the same reason lame hasn't been shut down.

thanks for the links to files though, i just realised my mp3 doesn't
work in fc4 :-D
