Reminder for Wallpaper F25

Hi,

Back in Westford at FAD we had a short discussion about how, to move on with future designs for Fedora itself. We stuck since the removal of the code names and struggle to come up with something in time.

We had yesterday, already the first Alpha Release Readiness meeting and we have no idea about the wallpaper yet. That is dangerous as we rely for a lot of graphics on this design.

At the FAD we came up with the idea, to use a system just internally for us using inventors from A-Z. So we start this time with A

There is a list in wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_inventors which is unfortunately shorter then the german one https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liste_von_Erfindern

For this time, I will make three suggestions

Archimedes, gives as a lot to play with Symetrie of Patterns, look into tiled clones in Inkscape, archimedical spiral, circles and so on

Edwin Howard Armstrong (FM Radio), we could play with frequency curves

al-Battani (astronomical guides, calculation of the sun year, sinus rate) gives us some things like astronomy, starts, calendar and similar to play with.

For this time, I just made a small google form to find out where to go: https://goo.gl/forms/kUezxe9cedtHqpX62

For the future we might change that a bit and start searching end of the actual release looking for the next one.

We have next thursday next meeting for the team, I suggest everybody makes his choice until then and we could start coming up with ideas during the meeting or we shorten it up and make again an hackfest in IRC
