Hi all,

I uploaded a modified version with a gradient to the Trac ticket. Let me know if it looks good to go now! Thanks.

Yes, once a revised version gets made, it's easy for me to replace it in
the git repo which will update the copy on the badges site.

    Thanks for the feedback, Maria!

I had borrowed from the events badge template, but I hadn't played
with a gradient. I'll add to my list of things to do for today to
tweak. nb actually pushed the badge last night, but BrickHack isn't
for a while, so it shouldn't be that difficult of a thing to change
before the event will actually be in widespread use. I'd rather get
it right than just let it sit as is. :)

I'll reply back once I've uploaded a modified version with a gradient.

        Hi Justin!

Good job on designing a badge!
From what I can tell, it falls a bit out from our line of
badges. My first concern is the flat background. If you consult
with the badges style guide, you can see there that usually a
gradient or pattern is suggested to be used.
For conferences it's dark blue gradient for presenters and grey
        for conference itself.
Also the logo uses strange perspective, but I guess you had
nothing to do with that ;)

        Hope this helps ;)

        Best regards,
        Maria Leonova

Subject: [Design-team] New badge review: BrickHack 2016

        Hello all,

I proposed a badge for an upcoming event for FAmNA a while back,
        and I
decided I would give my hand at designing it too. I followed the
template for event badges and referred to past event badges as
        an example.

As per requested, since this is my first badge, I would like to have
some peer review to make sure the concept checks out. As far as
        I know,
everything should be in place. I also attached a YAML definition
        file,
although it's unclear how manually awarded badges are defined.

        https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-badges/ticket/427

Please let me know any feedback on this badge. If it's possible,
        I would
like to get to approved just before the end of the month --
        BrickHack is
the first weekend in March, so it is coming up on the horizon.

        Thanks!
