Some people do value freedom. I subscribe to a product that respects my freedom. The extra emphasis is odd though.
The question is do these people chose their distro based on ads like this? I think they don't.

I think it's really sad to see that we can't keep a level head about things like this. If this turns into a flamewar here, we did that ourselves, not the original post author.
