Earlier today I found a dent (can't remember who it was from, possibly tatica) about advertising banners on Fedora and wrote a comment on one and how I found it to be questionable if it would actually help rather than hurt our cause. @tante (who's opinion I generally respect a lot) send me this blog post in reply:
To be clear: I am not trying to stir up controversy, I just thought it was fair if I passed this along as I agree with him on the main points. Happy to discuss this, though. Maybe this is more the Marketing Team's arena anyway....
