We like to use the MgOpen Modata font as a "complementary font" in our
graphics, install it with:
yum install mgopen-fonts
As for your image, it looks a bit unbalanced, with a lot of empty space
at the bottom. I would move the text to the bottom and decrease the
height of its background.
Also, the thing you did with the logo is against the usage guidelines:
