Also I'm not sure if fedoratv does it.. but you might look into a authorization model where once a user has 'enough' trusted submissions without an issue then you flag them as trusted and you no longer pre-approve all their stuff. Instead you just smack'em on the head if they do something stupid after becoming trusted. It's the same model that the http://io9.com blog uses for comment submitters. You start out on probation, where all your posts are screened by a moderator, then once the editorial staff think your trustworthy you get your stuff approved automatically.
