I get the picture ;-) ... Branding applications are a bad idea. I was just a little taken away by the splash screen concept for mozilla based applications :-) None the less I kinda like the default splash screens for only one reason - when I launch the Firefox / Thunderbird applications, all I see is a window-list element stating "Starting firefox.." and no other visual indication. The splash screen gives me the 'feel' that the application is loading up and makes me feel happy that the application loads up in snap.... well that is just my view about it. I totally agree with Jeff too - that branding the applications would make it harder for alternate spins. later, Rogue -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFHeUP/ceS9IQvx51YRAm2ZAKC/fY4Asiagk6s4okq75qfcNVJnNACfRT3+ 6lY3DreTOAMJTK/qPCNkTEc= =raE7 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ Fedora-art-list mailing list Fedora-art-list@xxxxxxxxxx http://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/fedora-art-list
