GEL CANDIES SEIZED AT CALIFORNIA FACILITY -- FDA has conducted
a seizure of all New Choice Food mini-gel candies after
determining that the product presented a choking hazard.  Six
child deaths have been reported in the United States following
choking incidents associated with this type of gel candy.

SEAFOOD COMPANY RECALLS SMOKED FISH PRODUCT -- Morey's Seafood
International LLC is recalling packages of its Morey's Smoked
Ciscoes Chubs because they may be contaminated with Listeria
monocytogenes, which can cause serious infections in children,
the elderly, and others with weakened immune systems.  The
product was distributed in 15 states.
