Hello. Mke2fs manpage says about resize_inode option: ---- Reserve space so the block group descriptor table may grow in the future. Useful for online resizing using resize2fs. By default mke2fs will attempt to reserve enough space so that the filesystem may grow to 1024 times its initial size. This can be changed using the resize extended option. ---- So what happens after an *offline* resizing: - Is this reserved space "regained" or recalculated in the resized filesystem? Or... - should I beware of a fixed "online-resizing" filesystem size limit, set at mkfs time? -- (nil) _______________________________________________ Ext3-users mailing list Ext3-users@xxxxxxxxxx https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/ext3-users
