Hi,
I have been in holiday, for this reason I have lost this email thread.

The ext3 indexed directory patch I applied to my kernel some days ago doesn't
work well.
I have mounted an indexed partition:
/dev/hda7 on /internet type ext3 (rw,index)
create a new directory an run the file creation test for 10000 files with the
result:
Mon Sep 2 12:59:00 CEST 2002
real 3m33.755s
user 0m27.200s
sys 1m3.350s
Mon Sep 2 13:02:34 CEST 2002

The directory is greater than 3 blocks in size:
# ls -al /internet/test
total 464
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 Sep 2 12:55 .
drwxr-xr-x 14 root root 282624 Sep 2 12:54 ..
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 180224 Sep 2 13:02 test

But the file creation time is not the spected for the ext3 indexed directory.
I believe that I have done all the needed steps, but it still doesn' go.
What am I doing wrong ?
Any suggestions ?

Greetings.
