Big problem Notes installation produced link with the same name as the directory

old structure was

/opt/lotus/notes/
/opt/lotus/notesdata/
....

a installscript of IBM's Lotus Notes=20
made a directory link /opt/lotus -> /home/notes

all my data is not viewable

when I look at df -h
the Space of the files approx. 4 GB ist allocated and not free.
Is there a possability to get the directory back??
