I rebooted my system but no success = as system conveyed message "I9990301 Disk Failure or disk reset failed" I then used Linux rescue disk and somehow able to get on # prompt and = then I used=20 fsck.ext2 -b 32768 /dev/hda5 I rebooted my system but no luck and got the error message / = inconsistency Entered into single user mode, ran fsck multiple times but same error = message. SYSTEM details: Red hat 7.2(2.4.7-10) BIOS DATE: 5/17/00 Drive: /dev/hda(Geom: 2482/255/63) (mode: IBM-DLTA-307020) FYI: My system has crashed 5-6 times and I always ended up in = re-installing Linux.
