You're a genius. And I may not be ready for my test. For various reasons we have a 'local mounts' fstab and a 'nfs mounts' fstab. I ended up wiping the local mounts portion and had only nfs mount points listed in it. Thank you. I learned that the (null) entry is a dead giveaway for no mountpoint being defined.
