I am using RedHat 7.2 w/ kernel 2.4.7-10. My / filesystem is configured =
as ext3. I want to change it to use data=3Djournaled instead=20

of ordered. If I mount it from a boot floppy, it mounts fine. (mount /d=
ev/hda2 /mnt =96t ext3 =96o data=3Djournal). I have attempted to=20

find the correct procedure to start it up as journaled from grub to no av=
ail. I have created a new initrd image that works fine=20

with data=3Dordered. I see where one procedure is to use lilo =96R linux=
 rw rootflags=3Djournal=3Dupdate. I=92m confused about the=20

read&write aspect as well as why they used journal=3Dupdate instead of da=
ta=3Djournal. This filesystem was created new with this=20

system, so I should not have to upgrade it. Thanks.=20
