Summary glBlitFramebuffer always "bad src/dst multisample pixel formats", when src fbo is multisample
Product Mesa
Version git
Hardware x86-64 (AMD64)
OS Linux (All)
Status NEW
Severity normal
Priority medium
Component Drivers/Gallium/radeonsi
Assignee dri-devel@lists.freedesktop.org

simple sdl2 example

If I try to blit from a multisample fbo I always get:

GL_INVALID_OPERATION

or with KHR_debug callback:

GL_INVALID_OPERATION in glBlitFramebufferEXT(bad src/dst multisample pixel
formats)

This even happens when the target fbo has the same sample count.
