Bug appeared from 3.10-RC1 kernel version and later. Still is unsolved with
3.12 kernel release. Last known good kernel was 3.9.11.

Ati Radeon 2600 PRO 512mb (Asus)
Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 (BIOS F9)

Bug is reported to Launchpad too and seems affecting many users.
