Update - I no longer see this problem.

Quick test (meaning I booted machine once) using:

   linux 6.13-rc7  (previously 6.13-rc1
   mesa 24.3.3     (previously 24.3.0)

Works fine.

I note that the patches
(https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/series/141911/) are not in the this
kernel. i.e. the file drivers/gpu/drm/i915/display/intel_fb.c still has
around line 1694 or so:

  if (IS_ALIGNED(fb->base.offsets[i], PAGE_SIZE))

whereas the patch changes PAGE_SIZE to 64.

I have not yet tracked down what has changed but wanted to report back,
since 6.13 is not far off.

Could it be other kernel patches or perhaps changes in mesa itself?
Thanks for resolving it.

I will continue to test and report back if I see anything different.
