I think I messed using a wrong  make option :

make DTBS_CHECK=y W=1 -j$(nproc) st/stm32mp135f-dk.dtb

instead of

make CHECK_DTBS=y W=1 -j$(nproc) st/stm32mp135f-dk.dtb


I'll send a fix promptly.
