That commit shouldn't change anything unless you enable dpm. However, the driver now requires an additional ucode file. Make sure you have the CEDAR_smc.bin ucode installed. You can grab it from the linux-firmware tree or from here: http://people.freedesktop.org/~agd5f/radeon_ucode/
