How about adding an hsfreq_max field to the dphy_timings structure (set
to the above values, 80000, 125000, ...) and writing

	for (i = 0; i < ARRAY_SIZE(rzg2l_mipi_dsi_global_timings); ++i) {
		dphy_timings = &rzg2l_mipi_dsi_global_timings[i];
		if (hsfreq <= dphy_timings->hsfreq_max)
			break;
	}

You could then drop the rzg2l_mipi_dsi_dphy_timings enum.

I'm still annoyed by this, but it's not a blocker, as
rzg2l_mipi_dsi_host_attach() already validates that the device's number
of lanes doesn't exceed the maximum specified in DT. Nonetheless, if it
were possible to read this register at probe time by initializing the
PHY there, I'd prefer that, but it can be done in a subsequent patch.

Let's name these labels with an "err_" prefix. You can also shorten them
to err_stop_clock and err_stop if desired.

The error message from v6 was useful for debugging purpose, I'd add it
back:

		dev_err(dsi->dev,
			"Number of lines of device (%u) exceeds host (%u)\n",
			device->lanes, dsi->num_data_lanes);

or something like that.

Missing \n. Also, this is an error, I'd use dev_err(), and print the
format too, useful for debugging:

		dev_err(dsi->dev, "Unsupported format 0x%04x\n", device->format);

With these small issues addressed,
