[PATCH v7 2/7] drm: convert drm_device.master_mutex into a rwsem

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

drm_device.master_mutex currently protects the following:
- drm_device.master
- drm_file.master
- drm_file.was_master
- drm_file.is_master
- drm_master.unique
- drm_master.unique_len
- drm_master.magic_map

There is a clear separation between functions that read or change
these attributes. Hence, convert master_mutex into a rwsem to enable
concurrent readers.
