There's some minor "corruption" visible on the bottom of the screen while still booting up, and then it gets stuck. I don't think I mentioned this in the previous posts, but I tried setting this cap myself, but in the thermal init function instead of in the process pp tables one, which had the same effect. The boot seems to be stuck completely, since I can't ssh into the box either. Any suggestions for debugging this crash caused by enabling the MicrocodeFanControl cap are appreciated.
