Well 10 years of ttm refactoring in 2 months is maybe a bit rough :-)

What about waiting until -rc2, backmerging that, and then landing the next
round of churn? Should at least give us another month or so for fixing
issues and people testing stuff.

Aside from that I don't think the pain can be avoided since we don't have
a massive hw ci like mesa.
