My issue seems unrelated to your bug report, my suspend/resume freeze issue is related to my Intel Wireless AC9260 not to my AMD Ryzen 7 3700U with integrated graphics Vega RX10. Disabling the wireless card in the BIOS fixes the suspend/resume problem for my specific configuration (Thinkpad T495 20NK model).
