Using the RX 5700 XT as well. Previously, running SteamVR could pretty quickly crash my system (even before launching a game), and since I rebuilt linux-mainline from AUR, haven't had SteamVR crash my system yet. Fingers crossed that this continues. Though Half-Life: Alyx is causing a system crash, which can even happen on Windows with Vulkan apparently! Wow.
