I tried using modeset X11 driver and got a bunch of errors in Xorg.0.log about inability to do "page flips", so I've put `PageFlip false` for it and `EnablePageFlip false` for amdgpu with removal of 'TearFree true' (why it isn't always on by default ?), just in case. No hangs for about 24 hours even with a lot of Youtube in Firefox even with amdgpu.
