They only relevant register in your dump that's different is 0x75a0 (DIG_CNTL) and the only difference is that dig mode (DVI vs HDMI) either of which should work fine. I think the problem lies in the north bridge pcie config regs as the HDMI port uses the PCIEPHY transmitter which shares lanes with the northbrigde.
