I've tested them on top of the v5.8 tag during the weekend. It seems those patches are mitigiating the described EIO issue. Nonetheless IMHO this patches are not fixing the root cause of the problem (unsynchronized sdma_disable_channel_async / sdma_prep_dma_cyclic).
