FAQ has what to me appear to be a disconnect btw section 1.2 and 5.17

There seem to be a disconnect btw what section 5.17 talks about and what the second paragraph of section 1.2 implies.

Second paragraph of section 1.2 implies section 5.17 talks more about security concerns of ssd/flash drivers while section 5.17 talks about FIPS certification.

If FIPS certification has something to do with ssd drives, then a bit of a discussion about them in 5.17 would make a connection btw the two sections.
