I have the following command running for 20 hours before I killed it:
cryptsetup -v --verify-passphrase luksFormat /dev/sda8
Where /dev/sda8 is a 30GB partition. And during the time this command was running, it was using 100% of the CPU.
How long does this "format" operation takes, usually, for a 30G partition??
