You mean: dmsetup info -c device $ sudo dmsetup -c info /dev/sdd1 dm_task_set_name: Device /dev/sdd1 not found hmm $ sudo dmsetup -c info /dev/mapper/encrypted Name Maj Min Stat Open Targ Event UUID encrypted 253 1 L--w 1 1 0 Right-- I just told it to use /dev/mapper/encrypted, not surprising that it's still open. You aren't telling me that I can't add/remove LuksKeys while /dev/mapper/encrypted is in use, are you??? I *might* be able to turn this off, but think of people who are using encryption for their root (/). Do they have to use a rescue disk to add/remove LuksKeys? -- Carlo Wood <carlo@xxxxxxxxxx> --------------------------------------------------------------------- dm-crypt mailing list - http://www.saout.de/misc/dm-crypt/ To unsubscribe, e-mail: dm-crypt-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxx For additional commands, e-mail: dm-crypt-help@xxxxxxxx
