The people who maintained the code in the past seem to be rather busy with other things, and you should acknowledge that they did their job voluntarily. So the real problem is, that cryptsetup becomes more and more popular, while no new developers seem to be interested in participating. I have to admit that this applies to me as well. I maintain cryptsetup in debian, but i've neither skills nor time to do upstream tasks on a regular basis. You could at least file bugreports against cryptsetup in your favourite distribution. That documents the issue, and maybe the maintainer who is responsible for the package cares enough to find a fix. ... jonas -- "In post-historical society, the rulers have ceased to rule, but the slaves remain slaves." - Perry Anderson --------------------------------------------------------------------- dm-crypt mailing list - http://www.saout.de/misc/dm-crypt/ To unsubscribe, e-mail: dm-crypt-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxx For additional commands, e-mail: dm-crypt-help@xxxxxxxx
