Updating to cryptsetup 1.0.5

Hello,

I'm running a system which is encrypted with cryptsetup-luks.
I'd like to update it to cryptsetup 1.0.5, but i guess this is not possible
while my system is running, as cryptsetup needs to be there for decrypting my
data or am I understanding something wrong?

Here's my understanding:
- On read requests, cryptsetup-luks is used or at least somehow needed to
decrypt the data
- If I update a running system to cryptsetup 1.0.5 then this will fail as there
must be a period where cryptsetup-luks is not available (cryptsetup-luks is
uninstalled, cryptsetup is installed or should, guess it will break after
uninstalling cryptsetup-luks?), so my encrypted root partition can't be read and
nothing can be written to it, therefore i can't install cryptsetup 1.0.5 on an
already encrypted system?

thanks for your help!
