Try to luksOpen and mount the dvd with "pmount". This is the way I mount my luks encrypted volumes, this works also for the dvd. Add /dev/pktcdvd/0 to /etc/pmount.allow and do a $ pmount /dev/pktcdvd/0 Thats all.
