Hallo Klaus, I got it working but only as root! Where lies my problem? As root I get the same result like you. Here is my situation: $ groups disk dialout fax voice cdrom floppy tape sudo audio dip video games users lpadmin usb scanner camera fuse $ ls -l /dev/dvd /dev/pktcdvd/0 brw-rw---- 1 root cdrom 22, 0 2007-04-19 20:57 /dev/dvd brw-rw---- 1 root cdrom 252, 0 2007-04-19 19:00 /dev/pktcdvd/0 What's wrong?
