However, the rk3582/rk3583 variants (rk3588s with one or more bad cores) may have 0-2 cores working for the decoder and/or encoder. E.g on my rk3582 boards I have following different ip-state in otp: - 1 bad cpu core (ip-state: 10 00 00) - 1 bad decoder core (ip-state: 00 80 00) - 1 bad encoder core (ip-state: 00 00 04) The general idea is that bootloader will disable or delete the offending nodes in the device tree to correctly describe the HW for the OS.
