Hmm... I'm afraid of this change. As far as I remember, I tested some weird format variants like V4L2_STD_PAL_60 a long time ago, but there's no way to force video to use those. The format selection logic simply places the device on auto-detect mode for those weirdos, and that works fine at the devices I know. A change like that may break things.
